Lamest Status run ever ?

On current projections, I find myself 20 SC short of SG (first time ever SG). So my lame status run looks like Per-Geraldton 7:00 - 8:05, return 8:30 and be at work by 10. 20SC's, SG in the bag, wahoo.

Folks did this run in March, Dad did it twice over a week, to ensure they made the 4 sectors on QF for status, prior to their AONE4. Apparently was very quick and easy, nothing special.

There is no such thing as a lame status run, on a lame excuse why you were so short of qualifying/re qualifying

I stupidly left myself 25 SCs short of next loyalty bonus before end of May and I am going BNE-ROK return (double SCs) on 30 May for $194 and 10,000 QFF points....

I did a SYD-CBR in business class on the final day of qualification to retain SG basically paying about $200 for the pleasure of a toasted sandwich and a view of the sea

I am going BNE -AKL JASA in August. ( double SC's )
It gets me WP ( my year ends 31st August)
As Mrs GPH has just hit gold and her year ends 31st July she is coming with me to kick start her year to retain Gold.

Status with OPM is the best way. Been a few years since I've had the pleasure.
