I have a problem in that my Velocity Rewards Account is held in my first name (Nicola which I don't use) and my Flybuys account is held in my middle name (Kim which I use). I may also have used the first of the month as my birthday on my Flybuys account (but cannot see this anywhere).

There are security reasons why I do not use my actual birthday unless it is legally required. Burnt previously when I had my identity stolen and used to buy mobile phones etc.

Consequently, when I try to link the accounts it is rejected because the data does not match. Can I update my Flybuys account details or do I have to close the account and create (another) new one?

I had to update my surname on my flybuy a account to match my velocity account- it was no trouble at all.
