Lisbon Storey-booked through airbnb
[FONT=&]At Lisbon station (also houses the metro & a supermarket) we are met by our host & walk the steep path 5 minutes uphill to our new abode. This apartment only opened in Sept 2013. It is around 75sq m & extremely comfortable. It dates from the 17[SUP]th[/SUP] century but now has none of the drawbacks of old buildings. On a small living room balcony we can see the river and we have easy access to train, subway, bus taxi & water transport (5 minutes from cruise terminal). Our hosts architectural background shows in the apartment with smart planning. There are 2 bedrooms, great kitchen, big bathroom & a very comfortable lounge room. We have a dishwasher, washing machine, full bath, cooktop & microwave, masses of electrical switches, plenty of heating & cooling, very generous starting supplies of food, condiments, coffee & washing requirements. There are plenty of small cafes & bars close by in what is one of the city’s oldest quarters. The tramway 28 is only 5 minutes away
