It's affecting some users including me for the past 3 days HH support are aware of it and trying to resolve, but in the meantime it's very frustrating and no ETA on resolution.
Ive not be able to find any workarounds or back doors to overcome the authentication issue.

No email notification, just the webpage reloaded to a screen advising that my registration was successful. Other activity has been a H-CNS stay and a H-Tokyo booking (using the US Para page).Interesting, I registered for that promo literally the second it was announced via an FT thread/BoardingArea article. I wonder if that promo link was momentarily incorrect and may be the source of the issues. Can't see any other common themes here without knowing other's HH account activity.

I got hold of them this morning via the "chat" function and the guy reset my account and issued a new password. I have to wait until I'm home to get the email he sent so I haven't been able to try it yet, but he did say I should use a mobile phone rather than desktop/laptop as their having trouble resetting via that mode :shock:. Great for me, as the phone is basically useless unless using the H-App with wifi works. All seems pretty bloody odd. They've done something and now can't fix it and are doing a reset which can't use the internet login........nah, nothing wrong there.Still can't login using Chrome or IE on my PC or Safari on iPad. Had a recent stay at DT-MEL (checked-out Sat 30th) and haven't been able to login since.
No issues with the hhonors App tho. Hmmmm
Happened to me as well last week. I was checking airline partners and transferring points. Like you I moved to another page and I could continue.Interesting. I'm still getting the message posted above. It's been about two days now.
The missing login button happens to me on a regular basis. I usually just go to a different page (like HH rather than H).
