Anyone else having problems getting into the VA site for booking the free Amex flight? Don't know how long it's been down but I haven't been able to get in for the last 24 hours.

I just tried and am getting an "error with Velocity login" message, is that what you're getting?

Yes. Still getting that message after I just tried to log in again.

I can log in but get an error trying to book when selecting an airport of 'No airports found', good to see its not just me!!

I was getting that as well.

Has anyone had any luck with this yet as I'm still unable to log in through the AMEX free flight link?

The contact centre for VA or for Amex travel?

Slightly related... does anyone know how to find the expiry date for the flight online, or is it a call to Amex? I had a flight to DRW booked but cancelled it and I can now rebook but I'm not sure how long I have to do that.

i usually just looked through my prev statements to see when I first qualified for the comp flight (when the annual fee was charged). Then I made note to book a month before the next one is due, at the latest.
But easiest n best is to just call Amex so they can tell you exactly the date.

I know the original expiry date was different to my anniversary date. But with the flight being cancelled and reissued and then Amex giving an extention to use, I'm not sure now. And there doesn't seem to be any mention of it on my Amex or Velocity profiles.
