Long term lurker finally saying hello

Hi all, I’ve been an AFF member for quite a while and lurked here often but never yet posted. Hello!

I’ve recently had to wipe out all my QFF points to afford to buy emergency flights to SYD-SIN-KUL and back for medical reasons departing tomorrow. I think I’ve probably made many ‘classic’ mistakes in redeeming them for Y fares and without considing the route, taxes etc but that’s why I’m here and posting now. I would like to start rebuilding my balance and learning the best ways to do it, so looking forward to reading more and getting to know everyone.
