Hello all - as you may have deduced from my handle, I am someone who often does day trips between Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne for Qantas, all in economy I'm afraid, the odd US trip in Business, ("J") with Qantas, and holiday-time family travel at Christmas that hoovers up the good work in accumulating points from the rest of the year 
I am a Qantas Gold Frequent Flyer, on the verge of Platinum.

In no particular order, I:
- am delighted Coolangatta (OOL) has a Qantas Club again;
- detest domestic US air travel and if you are heading to the East Coast, strongly recommend flying into Dallas from Sydney, if you can help it;
- know BA can sometimes be disappointing, but swear by the quality of the tea they serve; and
- hate that feeling when the last person to get on to the Dash 8 between Sydney and Canberra is going to sit next to you - and they're enormous (this happens to me more times than I think is fair).
