Ive been reading AFF for a while, having been encouraged just over 1.5 years ago to get on the FF credit card bandwagon. I've already been helped by a wealth of knowledge on here, was able to jump on a few bonuses and a referral offer here and there to boost points I wouldn't otherwise have known about or achieved. Im sure the other half thought I was a bit mad until I booked us recently SQ J from CBR-SIN then on to Male (redemptions all the way). Not the flashiest aircraft for first J flight (777-200), but we are limited by time (plus our first time together away from our 3 kids EVER!) so I think we'll still be pretty stoked in any case. Free flights are free flights! I will still have enough points for a solo trip to Europe next year to visit some old friends so I expect to be asking the gurus on here for some advice at a later date. So thanks everyone who's contributed to everything I've read thus far. I hope in time I'll be able to contribute in kind.
