I admit this is a rather strange request...
I had a very short transit in SYD last week, and quickly poured a glass of white wine (I can't even remember the varietal).

Maybe it was just super chilled, but it was very tasty indeed. I'm sure it's not a particularly expensive bottle, and it's always nice to find a tasty wine that won't break the bank.

However in the rush I didn't take a note or a photo....
It was a white wine, I think chardy, with a reasonably unusual bottle that felt like a matte grey/black bottle.
Anyone out there able to take a photo of the whites in the SYD (or other domestic) lounge? Or just let me know what it is if they see it?

Thanks!

Was it the Qantas Club lounge or the business lounge? I'll be in the latter on Tuesday arvo so I'll do some 'research' for you.

Regular old QC lounge. But they may have that wine in biz. The bottle was quite unusual. And maybe it isn't as good as I remember and I was just particularly thirsty....but ya never know!

None of these bottles strike me as particularly unusual, but was it perhaps one of these wines?

I checked that out but I'm fairly sure it wasn't one of those. I recall trying most of the whites in that pack over time.

Penfolds Chardonnay they serve in the lounge is a nice drop. Did it have a red label?
