Hi,

Looking for some feedback on anyone that has used the Los Angeles International Lounge as I have just noticed this seems to be my option flying in J and Gold on the way back to Brisbane. From what I can see online, I am underwhelmed and think I might just have to find a bar or restaurant instead.

I used the Delta lounge there a few months back, it was great. Lots of amenities and a huge range of food and drinks with a really nice "deck" overlooking the hustle and bustle below.

Delta Lounge in TBIT? There is none, only a Skyteam (no access) lounge.

Access may be available in T2 /T3 at the Skyclubs there - although not indicated on the VA web site.

It's not a huge issue IMHO since it's an 11am flight.

Oops yes my bad sorry it was at LAX for a domestic delta flight that we used the delta lounge, it was the international lounge we used for our return leg which is the one I was referring to.
I thought it was quite nice.

I used it last year. It was fine. Not a posh lounge and most of the food was packaged but it wasn't awful by all means.

I think there was fresh sushi and a couple of other things. Otherwise cheese and biscuits, cereal, chips, muesli bars etc.

It was a small but wasn't full. Clean, quiet and looks over the shopping area so doesn't feel claustrophobic at all.

It has a self serve bar that had some good spirits to help yourself to along with wine.

There were fridges with soft drinks, juice, beer etc.

I'd choose that over sitting downstairs in the departures area. Especially if you end up being bussed out to the gate. Or delayed.

It's just above where all the food service is so you can always go check it out and decide for yourself and leave if you don't like it.
