Losing Gold Status

I am going to sadly lose Virgin Gold status as of 2 July. According to my card, it says review date 2 July, card expiry 2 August. Does that mean that I remain Gold to 2 August?

Unlike Qantas who have a set date that each member loses their status credits, Virgin seem to do a rolling 12 month cycle. On 2 July I am going to be about 150 SC short of re-qualifying for gold, so I have re-qualified for Silver. Of the 250 SC I have earned from 2 July 2022 - 2 July 2023, about 160 of them have been in 2023. To get Gold back does it again become a rolling 12 month cycle, so therefore can I get it back if say I get enough points before the end of this calendar year?

Presumably to get Gold back once I lose it, I need to earn 500 SC not 400?

Going up a level requires you to meet the requirements based on the 12 month rolling total. So, if you lose gold, you will need to get back to the 12 month total of 500.

Do you need to have earned the SC prior to review date or will on the review date be ok?
thanks
Going by the T&C's, SC's earned on the review date should count for requalification. See specifically "Benefit Period" and "Review Date" definitions.

I'm going to need to do some serious flying in the next six months to requalify myself. The rolling total is somewhat confusing. It should really say how many you have in the relevant year which tells you how many more you need to retain Gold.

It does though...? The app shows you, and online it shows how many credits you're losing and how many you'll therefore need to achieve at certain dates.

Yep. For example, I'm losing a single SC on the 29th

I was only looking at the (awful) website, not the app. I gave up on that a while ago. Might give it another go.
