Hi, I'm flying economy on a QF ticket to Nadi using a Fiji Air aircraft. The plane departs at midnight from BNE. I'm WP. Is there any lounge that's open this time of the evening that I can access?

Thanks!

If it's a FJ flight number then you're out of luck (ie a QF rewards flight will usually book the FJ flight number). Under the FJ "oneworld connect" rules (which are a bit convoluted), oneworld status (such as QF WP) are only recognised when bought as a oneworld marketed flight, so it's the QF codeshare number eg: QF3xx_) then you would be allowed to use the QF lounge.

However, the QF BNE International lounge, according to the QF website, closes at 9:15pm currently (probably prior to the last QF metal departure) so there may be nothing available for you even if n the QF flight number.

Of course something like Priority Pass may offer you an alternative, if you have it.

Thanks, yes I do have priority pass with my credit card and it looks like I'll be using that. (I've actually never used it before)

By any chance is that credit card the American Express Platinum card? If so, you will want to call up AmEx first as they need to send to you the priority pass kit. You can also ask for them to tell you over the phone what your priority pass membership number is so that you can sign up for a priority pass account which will give you a digital card you can use to go into the lounge. For other cards the rules might be different so it's important to look that one up before heading to the lounge.

Thanks, it's issued with my BOQ Specialist Signature Visa card. I have a physical card but will activate the app. It may actually come in handy in Nadi on the way back.
