Can the lounge invites that you get when attaining Silver status be used for the Virgin Lounge when flying VA on an NZ flight number?

Would this be for a Australian domestic flight? If so it may be possible.

T&Cs don't necessarily state that it has to be a VA flight number, just that it's a operated by VA domestically. I think it's likely you'll be given access when you present your Silver membership card and boarding pass at the lounge.

Thanks guys. Was a bit of a silly question on my part as this was in relation to a trans-tasman flight - I hadn't realized that VA doesn't have their own international lounges.

You can get access to NZs international lounges with VA lounge membership according to VAs website and if you think you'll make gold I've read on here people stating you can get refunds of the remaining VA lounge membership year?

Yes VA does provide pro-rata refunds on lounge memberships (even if they were purchased with points).
