I visited a lounge in an international airport over the weekend using my DC card; at the reception desk I noticed a sign saying something like:

"From March 1st 2016, Diners Club lounge access will be governed by 'lounge credits'. One lounge credit will allow one lounge visit".

The people at the lounge didn't seem to know much about it, and there is nothing obvious on either the international or Australian DC websites. Has anyone heard anything about this? In this case I was allowed access just as I always have.

I have a Hyundai Card Diners (South Korea) and haven't had any issues with gaining free lounge access for my wife and me with her supplementary card despite minimal spending. Hyundai Card wouldn't give a supplementary card to my 6-year-old daughter, but most lounges are pretty good and forget to charge her, as she doesn't drink much.
