Anyone knows if the lounge passes issued under the VA Amex could be used without needing to be on a flight? I couldn't see any exclusions, just don't want to be turned away - accompanying someone who is flying J on the day.

Thanks!

You each will need to present a boarding pass in order to use the lounge invitation unfortunately.

The person flying J can guest you in. No need to be flying and no need to use a lounge pass.

There are no guest privileges for someone flying J. They may have guesting privileges through some other means though...

Just checked and you're right. Interesting, I've done this with QF but never tried with VA.
