I've finally reached the lofty heights of LTS! The congratulatory email from QF mentions the free lounge pass.
I can't see any in my account. Can I presume that I won't get one as I already get access from being WP?
The pass would come in useful for guesting etc..
Thanks

You don’t get any lounge passes when achieving lifetime status

LTS (but not SG or higher) still get 2x passes per year I thought?

But not while ever SG/WP.

Platinum overrides the LTS in this respect. Since you have the higher status, those benefits are what you get. I can certainly understand the notion to get a lounge pass with the Silver status, but it's trumped by Platinum imo.

A bit like I've been LTG for 10 years, but been WP/P1 for all that time - never seen a card or anything else to do with it apart from the initial lame letter saying I got it, and the notation in the app - because I hold actual higher status.

Is this still the case?

I was just thinking about what is the point of lifetime Silver, particularly in the context of points club and all the new initiatives. It might be something for the marketing team to review.

Regular PS gets 1x Lounge pass pa.

The LT Status page is silent on lounge passes for LTS, so maybe you don’t even get a single pass afterall?
Who knows what happens if you actually earn enough SCs anyway to attain/retain PS? 🤷‍♂️

LTS has broader OW benefits (yes, limited) but that plus QP (paid or freebie) is not a bad combo starting point. LTG obviously would be significantly better but that gets back to gist of the conversation over on the PC thread about making PC+ more attractive to status PAX (even though PC was primarily about big spenders and QF points earners on the ground not necessarily frequent flyers).

Out of curiosity, I checked my account (Status LTS), 1 free lounge pass is there. I haven't flown QF since 2020 - so I assume they've been expiring each year.

You can transfer them to family and friends if they have a use for them.

Hi, Do you know how to do this on the Qantas website? I can see how to link to my flights but I haven't figured out how to do this on the qantas website, or do you have to call and ask for this? I want to transfer it to my friends husband. We're all on the same flight but I can't guest their whole family in.

Or do I insert the other persons name into the name box? But there's nowhere for their FF number. If I click on the link invitation I'm worried it will just link to me but I don't need it for that flight. I called Qantas in NZ but seems the call centre is asleep and I'm rudely awake so thought I'd ask here.
