Not sure if anyone hasn't read of Lucky9876coins blog OneMileAtATime but he is in the middle of a flight between London and Dubai, and I guess he is enjoying the experience quiet a bit.

I guess it is each to their own He says he wasn't impressed by some of the world's top tier airlines, but likes the bling offered by EK. There is a market for each. I couldn't think of anything worse than the 7/11 snack basket!! I prefer Lufthansa's 'thinking person's' First class. Practical yet refined, and crew that - like happened to me - can actually have a conversation about an article you are reading in Time or The Economist. It may not be Lufthansa's 'absolute pleasure' to serve me (and it certainly isn't socialist Swiss's 'absolute pleasure') but that's not what I'm personally after.

What a great read, I am so up for the bling experience and had that flight on my bucket list after Mel B tweeted a pic of it a few months ago. I have even considered just booking it to NZ as the cheapest option, but sounds like that wont be long enough!
