I have a booking with a domestic Qantas flight followed by an international flight to South America on Qantas. Am I allowed to use the international baggage allowance on the first domestic flight?? Or do I have to abide by the domestic leg limit, which would make the international limit a bit pointless? Thanks

This is probably the wrong thread to ask this question, but the answer is you should be able to use the international allowance for your entire journey, especially if both flights are on the same ticket.

For such a two segment routing, the luggage allowance for the whole journey would be that for the "Most Significant Carrier", being that of the operator of the Oz-South American leg.
