I have been thinking this have been quite an entertaining thread but had nothing to contribute (thank God) until this week 
Flying out next week and hubby misplaced his credit cards! Could not find them for the world, ended up having to cancel them, order new ones and put a rush order in with a courier. The new ones will be here next week...
Until then I have had the pleasure of going onto every single hotels website, or call, to change the credit card. Then the car rental company and all the bills being paid by automatic transfer... just a headache I did not need at the moment 
Oh, and an hour later, the old cards turned up... but way too late then....
