Hello,

I may have the opportunity for a 24 hour stop over in Madrid. However, it will be on 1 May. Now I understand that 1 May is a public holiday in much of Europe and also 2 May is a holiday in Madrid.

Will most things be open? Has anyone been there at this time? I presume things like the airport train are still running?
