Major schedule change last night for AA

Interesting times. SCHEDULE changes for May 17 in particular will need you to check your reservations.

In my case un-flown DONE4 (starts 08 Mar) with a flight PHX-STL 26 May mid-day changed to a different flight number 4 hours earlier. AA reservations won't touch the QR ticket.....
and there is no D class on the (4 hour) later flight. And nothing but Y class (nothing lower) on the flight I was assigned (which I need for MrsWF) so it might be an Anytime award required.

Any suggestions on how to proceed?

QR should change this FOC as it's an involuntary change?

I had a couple flights affected, ~ 10 and 20 minute changes and QF re-issued the e-ticket overnight.

Took a couple of days but the TA got AA to change to the later flight. Still QR ticket stock so I don't know the politics involved, though I may ask the next time I actually see her in person.

I had a flight from Washington DC to Fort Lauderdale affected, moved from 9 am to 7am departure. Get more sight seeing in I guess.

In addition to my DONE4, Mrs WF has a biz award ticket PER-MEL-AKL-LAX-ORD in conjunction. Couple of weeks ago QF changed the timing on MEL-AKL. AA just changed AKL-LAX and we have a mis-connect. :shock: This resolution will be interesting.....
