Hi everyone,

I need some help with Malaysia Airlines flight change due to Covid-19. My parents-in-law have got a return ticket to Kuala Lumpur from Melbourne on MH128 on 30th April 2020. However, the flight is cancelled by Malaysia Airlines.

They do have another flight MH148 on the same day which is not cancelled. When we rang up to change the flight to MH148, we were told to pay about RM2000 per person as there is the fare differences from the original ticket. Malaysia did offer another flight in May with nothing to pay, but my in-laws would have overstay their visa by then. I have message Malaysia Airlines through facebook since then, and waiting for their reply.

Is there anything else I can do or any advice?

Thank you in advance!
