Marco Polo and Asia Miles to merge as one programme

This was semi-announced earlier in the year, but CX have now provided more detail and the timeline for merging Marco Polo and Asia Miles into a single loyalty programme called 'Cathay'. I personally can't wait for this to happen...always got frustrated with them being separate programmes.

One scheme with four tiers
Merge to happen in July 2022
Marco Polo Club points to be known as Status Points

Cathay Pacific to merge Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles programmes – Business Traveller

From July 2022 there will be one programme with a total of four tiers…
