I don't think I've seen this on AFF anywhere, but have just noticed an additional benefit on Jetstar Asia Plus bundled fare that these now include a meal/drink, as per below.

Recently purchased a Jetstar fare SIN-BKK, and paid $30 SGD for plus bundle. First point was that for some reason no credit card (booking) fee was levied, so straight away that saved me $8 SGD (booking < 14 days). So for the remaining $22 SGD ($17 AUD) get meal, drink, free changes, seat selection and ~ 1530 QFF miles (as a SG). Seems OK value. Will report back on the meal and process.

For bookings made from 31 August 2011 that are travelling from 12 September 2011, Plus and Max bundles include a meal on all flights operated by Jetstar Asia. For Jetstar Asia flights to/from Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Medan passengers will receive a Light Meal and 1 cold non-alcoholic drink. For Jetstar Asia flights to/from all other destinations, passengers will receive a Main Meal and 1 cold non-alcoholic drink and 1 hot drink. Passengers who would like to request a vegetarian meal can do so by calling Jetstar Reservations after booking.
Meals are not included in Plus or Max bundles for domestic flights or flights operated by Jetstar Pacific.

I also booked SIN-BKK just last week and included the bundle. Good value and am glad I included it.

I've got CGK-SIN and SIN-HKG sectors coming up in December so this is just in time. Probably wouldn't have purchased a bundle just for the points or flexibility but with the meal included it's pretty reasonable.

I tried to add a bundle but as I booked my flight before this came out it won't cost me $30 each way. They told me it will cost me $455 each way!!!!! I asked if they were having a laugh. She said "no as you didn't do it at time of booking we have a lot of fees etc" I said " but it wasn't available when I booked " she promptly told me to email customer care. I did. 6 weeks an 4 calls later I get a letter saying"jetstar have emhanced their services and you have to do it at time of booking. Must have been your travel agents fault". Hello ...... They didn't have that option when we booked. I was also told if I re book on same flight I can have it for $30 but as ticket not transferable will have to purchase a new fare. Why can't they offer the bundle to people who booked on the same flight in advance ? Guess who won't ever be flying jetstar again

I think the trouble with the bundle was that it includes flexibility for changes free of change penalties. If it was just free seat selection, meals and QFF points I see no reason why they wouldn't allow you to add it later on. However with the flexibility that allows (service fee) free changes there are sound business reasons why they don't allow people to add it in later. Otherwise people could just book and then if they wanted flexiblity pay $30 to add that at a later date... instead of current change fees which are $50 or $70 ...

All I wanted was the f/f points :(
