A heads up for anyone booked MEL-PER (rtn) between 21 Sep and 1 Oct, (as I am.) It seems that the start date for all A330 ops on the route has been pushed back from 21Sep to 1Oct. I had a quick look at my flight and noted it was no longer A330. After some searching I found that the first day of A330 ops for all sectors had moved to 1Oct.

Phew - my redeye on 27 Sept PER-MEL is still on the A330 in business :D. Although it was only a B738 on the flight when I booked it originally, I am am happier to keep the chance of the bigger seat.

Interestingly my return on 30 Sept MEL-PER has been changed from a connection via Sydney to a direct flight (also on A330). I'm happy but a little surprised as I don't recall any notification about this. Perhaps it's only just happened and they haven't yet got around to notifications.
