Melbourne international Qantas club

Hi Guys,

I am arriving in Melbourne domestic from Perth at 2340 and leaving from Melbourne international for LA at 0600. I am a gold frequent flyer and wanted to know if the club is 24 hours? I'm tossing up whether I get into the lounge and chill out, grab some carpet in the airport or get a motel room for a few hours?

The MEL lounge shuts after QF29 and reopens at 4.30am. So you are out of luck there. Cheapest place nearby is the formula 1..

The Qantas web site says 0430 until last departure. See MEL Int QC.

FWIW, it does stay open a little later when the FJ flight to Nadi is operating (the Business lounge that is).
