Agreed. I use the 901 about half the time My 'rules' are similar - in summary:
Allow 15 minutes each way from T1 (QP) to/from the Grant's Road stop.
Min Train->Bus connection Time I plan is 5 minutes.
Min Bus->Train connection time I allow is three minutes (not as painful if you miss as the trains are generally more frequent than the bus, so the "Penalty" for missing can be less).
Bus Drivers often depart the airport within 1 minute of schedule - early!
