Hi all,

I may be missing something, but I'm having a really difficult time in understanding the various options that are available MEL-YVR-MEL via the Asiamiles website. Currently I see MEL-HKG-YVR-HKG-MEL for 145,0000 CX in J (which is actually 175,000 but thats another issue)
Are there any effective ways to search for award space with other carriers through Asiamiles? Any help on the matter much appreciated!

Sorry, I'm not familiar with Asiamiles...but given it's been a couple of weeks with no reply I thought I'd offer what I do know.

I recommend using this site to find routing: onw.innosked.com

The quickest route appears MEL-LAX (QF), LAX-YVR (AA). The other route is what you've already mentioned via HKG. In terms of searching award space, I would suggest searching leg-by-leg on the BA site, or alternatively the QF site. BA is the most accurate for Oneworld award space in my experience.

Hope that helps.

Many Thanks for that! i hadn't seen that website before. We ended up going the long way round as it was 175,000 asia miles
