MELCAN IV – Saturday October 21

2017 Global Champagne Day is scheduled for Octobe 21 this year. Whilst it is common knowledge that MEL is indeed the Centre of the Universe - I think it would be quite prudent for the AFF clan to schedule MELCAN IV to coincide with this date and give sufficient notice to our interstate friends so as to permit them time to get their ducks all rowed up.

Unlike the Yanks who somehow ended up with King Clown at the helm whilst actually losing the popular vote - we here at AFFsville are wholly and exclusively democratic so I would like to offer a popular vote to choose most suitable night for prospective attendees - Friday October 20 or Saturday October 21.

Event open to all and sundry - simple attendance criteria is that you are in possession of and ready to share 1 or more botts Champagne. As usual - this is not a competition to see who can bring most expensive bott - provided it IS Champagne you are welcome.

Location and format to be advised later.

Poll will close Midnight July 31 - or sooner - or later. Vote early please.
