Had three nights here last week, and to be frank it was three nights too many. While it is slightly more expensive than the Ibis Budget just down the road, you don't get much more for your money. The hotel is very old and despite a refurbishment in recent years, shows it's age.
It's located on top of the Kings Cross station opposite the Holiday Inn, however because of its age it's not very soundproof. If you get an easterly room, expect little sleep. I was on one of the higher floors and the noise at 2AM was not great.
I moved to a harbour view room which was very quiet for the last night, and if contemplating staying there this would be the minimum recommended room to book. I found the reception team very slow, and I am still waiting on my Le Club points.
Many of the hotels in the area have been bought by developers for conversion to apartments, this property is slated for the same fate, in the meantime it offers an average stay for an average price if you get a harbour view, and an expensive stay for no rest if you get an eastern facing room.
