May 2014 brin you all the things you desire but most importanlty it sees you health and happy and enjoying the love and support of your families.

I've been to many functions this year, met a heck of lot of AFFers and done some awesome flights. To mention a couple, SYD-ADL was great fun thanks to Jess' organising, last Saturday on the train with BAM1748 and AFFers was the most recent. I really do appreciate the amount of time and personal resources used to organise these functions is immense.

I'll start the new year in BKK with some AFFers and the year promises a lot.

The behind the scenes (and usually unseen) work by Admin and the mods is greatly appreciated and sets the scene. The contributions from my fellow posters have made for some wonderful conversations and certainly increased my knowledge.

Roll on 2014 and let's do it all again.

In the same vein, Mrs OATEK and I also offer our best wishes for Christmas and the New Year to everyone on AFF. I have gone from zero to hero following our recent QF J excursion to Europe (http://www.australianfrequentflyer....ip-photos/a-brief-european-odyssey-54906.html), and this forum made a major contribution to that success.
