Yes, getting this fare is rather tricky, too. You need to sign up to Malaysia Airlines' 'Grab a Deal' sale site and you have to book both legs separately, too. I have reprinted instructions below for everyone's benefit:

1. Sign up to MAS ‘Get-a-Deal’ site (note: I don’t think selecting a specific group makes much of a difference)
2. Once that’s done, log-in using your credentials on the blue right-hand panel
3. Select the “International” button
4. Click “Australia” to see the Perth deal
5. Click on your desired departure date. You will be redirected to a booking screen.
6. Select “One Way” and “My dates are flexible” and input your departure details again (ie. Perth to KL, date of departure)
7. Hit “Search”, select your fare and book!
