I think you get lots of SC for the BKK/HKT-KUL and KUL-BKK/HKT legs.

I got 80 each way for HKG-KUL and 60 each way for KUL-MEL each way last Aug traveling in MH J class.

HKG-KUL for 80 SCs each way is correct. Both BKK/HKT-KUL are under 750 miles in distance and only earn 40 SCs each way in business.

Yes but... requires an overnight stay in Beijing, so gotta factor in the time and hotel costs. Other destinations are just under double the price, but I think can be done with quicker turnarounds.
