Mileage run thoughts?

Hi guys,

I did make WP a couple of years ago but with the ****ty newspaper industry I've been relegated to Gold and now I've got a dilemma that I'm hoping you can advise me on.

I'm currently sitting on 1025 SC's and rollover on 30 June. I got my double SC email today and I'm pretty sure I have another TSV-BNE-TSV coming up late next week in K (120 SC's) which will put me at 1145 SC's. I could also jam another TSV-BNE-TSV in late June putting me up to 1265 SC's. So, that leaves me 135 SC's short of 1400.

Does anyone have a good recommendation out of TSV or BNE to make up that 135? I'm happy to do K or J using points + pay...

Do you have 48k points free?

TSV-DRW via BNE in a day should do the trick

Thanks guys, glad I asked! I went ahead and booked a TSV-ADL via BNE for 28 June (Cost 48K points + $262.94) which will give me 480SC's. Hopefully I read it right to guess that if I do make my 1400SC's ahead of 28 June I can go ahead and cancel this booking as it is fully refundable?

I actually went for the TSV-ADL via BNE return option because it allows me to avoid the red-eye, first leg isn't until 0925 and home at 2140.

On the bottom of my E-Ticket at has clause QF Any Seat Award conditions apply - Change/Refund QF only. Looks like cancellation/refund should be ok?

I am in a similar position. Based in BNE, I require 135 SC before May 31st to get to WP. Have around 50k points. Only have 30th and 31st to do a run and am trying to work out the most economical option to get 135 SC's in 1 day. Any ideas would be appreciated.

No. Not happy. My wife has received and she is not flying anywhere. I have done 4 domestic fights in the last week with no double SC offer!

BNE-xSYD-HBA in Business, HBA-xMEL-BNE in Flexi Y on 31/5 can be had for 50k points + $240.00ish. 100SC down and 50SC back should do it for you. But suggest you book promptly!!

I did a QFF double status run last year, TSV/BNE/DRW in J was one very long day can be done, was about 48K points and about $250.
