Hi All,
First Post on this interesting forum.
I have recently travelled from Australia to Europe, on SA, but ticketed via Lufthansa (so much cheaper), and had the miles credited to Aeroplan, except, they haven't credited.
That was over 20 days ago, so according to Aeroplan's own "missing points" page, it should take 8-14 days.
The web page does not accept the Lufthansa ticket and flight details, and I don't want to use Singapore flight number as understand LH->AP is 150%.bonus points vs SIN->AP is only 125%.
I don't know the codes properly, but the tickets were labelled D class, and C on the return (which we are yet to fly).
The question is should I just wait longer for the points to come, or email support?
Question 2 is should I actually receive 25% more credit using LH rather than SING as the ticket number? (this is what wheretocredit tells me)
Cheers
Madelaide
PS: first Star alliance flights - I'm Oneworld normally, currently Platinum QANTAS - but that won't last given we are using SA more in the future.
