Minimum Connection Time for Brisbane

Standard QF procedure for Dom<->Dom connections in BNE (or any other major centre) is 40 minutes.

Booking your flights on the same PNR on the QF website will enforce this connection time.

Thanks anat0l,

I was thinking 45 min but could not see it written.

Returning from Oz Fest QF have delayed our DRW-BNE flight by 15 min and at the same time cancelled our BNE-MEL flight. This means we now have a 30 min connection or a 150 min connection in BNE. The 150 min connection gets us to MEL at 2250.

Oops. A couple of my numbers are wrong. I'm working on a fix now.

Eeek. Runs to booking. Where's QF637 gone? Aaaargh.

Oops, look like QF have upset 2 Plats & a Gold member at the same time - where have the telephone calls gone?

OK what has happened is:
QF825 DRW-BNE is now 15 later than when I booked. Now departs 1340 arrives 1750.
Qantas in their wisdom have moved us from QF637 to QF639 for the BNE-MEL leg. When I first looked I did not/could not see that QF637 was still in the schedule. That has then changed us from an original 80min connection to a 125min connection (not 150min)

I'm about to ring them and see why they changed us and if they will put us back on QF637 which will take us back to an 80min connection.

Wish me luck :!:

If you are leaving on the Monday or Tuesday, I don't think there is a 637 any more. Certainly isn't on the Monday.

oz_mark,

We are leaving on Tuesday 31st May.

Whilst I was talking to the nice lady (Linda) from Qantas I commented about the now I see it and now I don't of QF637, When we looked it was still showing for some booking combinations but it is definitely not running. I was also trying to change my booking to DRW from the 25th to the 24th and there was not availability unless I looked at a full return trip so I went ahead and booked a new trip and she is cancelling the original one. The new one is 4184 points dearer for two people MEL-BNE-DRW return in J (U actually) so I can manage that.
