The Qantas T&C's have been updated; It's noted as being done 20th September 2007.

I checked these out with a cached copy I had dated April 1. While there's no Major changes, the following may be of interest to some:

8. Suspension or Termination of Membership said:
Clause 8.2 renamed Clause 8.3.

New Clause 8.2

8.2 If Qantas intends to take action under clause 8.1, it will notify the Member of its intention and the reason for that action. The Member will have 21 days to respond to this notice by rectifying the breach (where possible) and providing any reason by Qantas should not take action. Qantas will review the response and advise the Member of its position.

9.2 Points validity.

Basically amended such that points will no longer expire without notice. Qantas will endeavor to warn the member within 60 days of the points expiration date.

9.5.1 Cabin bonus.

Changed to reinforce that any applicable cabin bonus is to be credited in line with the cabin booked, not the cabin travelled in/wait-listed.

13.3 Award Flights - Booking conditions

13.3.1 changed from
The number of Points required to redeem an Award Flight is published on qantas.com and in the Benefits Guidebook, and is subject to change at Qantas' discretion.
to
The number of Points required to redeem an Award Flight is published on qantas.com and in the Benefits Guidebook, and is subject to change in accordance with clause 3. ...

20. Liability

Slight change to a plainer English version:
For example, for consumers, services come with non-excludable warranties under consumer protection legislation that they will be provided with due care and skill and be reasonably fit for their purpose.

Fee Schedule

Increase in the option to pay in AUD's the Assisted Award booking fee rather than 2½K QFF points per PAX. No change for domestic Oz, trans-tasman up from AUS25 to AUD27.50, NZ domestic down toAUD27.50 from AUD40 and all other international up to AUD50 from AUD40.

Code:

Code:

Ahh, that one is planned for next month

These look like very trivial changes and not likely to affect many members.

Still waiting for the major enhancements based on the rumours doing the rounds on AFF and FT recently....

How about earning QF FF points / SCs on Dragon Air when they join Oneworld on Nov 1st:?:

Thanks for the update serfty! :p The only thing likely to affect me is the Macair changes and I'm not looking forward to:
