Hi all

Completed my second Avis booking this year and after wondering where my QF points were I had a sneak peek at my AAccount and found them there for my first booking of the year.

After more digging I sorted out a lot of old info in the AVIS account and got everything sorted.

However on review I note my second booking has not appeared in my Avis account - having now relooked at the invoice there was no wizard number in the booking.

Is there a way to claim "points/miles" for bookings missed like this? I have tried the Avis site but the reclaim points just circles back to the account page...

I might be using hire cars a fair bit more this year and do not want to miss out anything.

QF suggest calling them (AVIS) rather than using the webform which seems to be MIA.

Thanks - wasn't sure if I was missing something/wrong/old browser...

I have been renting Avis cars through the use of our corporate Wizard number recently, I didn't think it was possible to earn QF points on when using a Wizard number or would every company have it's own arrangement? I have provided my QF number each time but never received any points.

A wizard number is just a customer number, it's the AWD that determines the FF miles criteria.

I really didn't expect anyone would rise to that :-))

Sarcasm unfortunately gets lots in the Internet sometimes, haha. :)

Interesting, so I guess whatever rate my company has negotiated excludes FF points, a bit disappointing considering a car will be rented in my name continuously for the next 4 months!

Actually it's more of a commentary on TLA's. ( now that's irony )

Is that an Oz based booking or overseas? If overseas you would only be losing out on 700 points - if Oz based that is a major loss...

Aus based, yep very annoying. Pretty much have had a car every week for the last couple of months as well so a lot of points going missing!
