Well we AFFers move around a lot and now AIRwin is moving to BNE.

So on Monday 18 Nov in Sunshine at the Dragon Express Chinese Restaurnat we're going to have a small farewell to our local man.

Sunshine station is on the Sunbury line a mere 21 minutes out of Melbourne and the eatery is within 30 metres of the station. As you get off the Sunbury/Watergardens bound train you leave the platform and walk down the ramp. At the bottom turn left and walk up the stairs. The restaurant is just to your left.

There is lots of parking around if you want to drive.

Start time 7:00pm and food type Asian. All welcome.

If you indicate you're coming then I'll PM you my mobile number in case you're lost or need more information.

Hope to see you there.

PS It won't be a late night.

Enjoy ... definitely a difficult side of town for me ...

Hi
Have a good night. I'll be in Sydney, but will be in BNE on Friday if you need to be guested into the lounge :-)

Hopefully see you again soon.

Happy packing.

I would love to attend, but would only make it around 9pm.

Hopefully the party is still on in full swing by then.

Look forward to seeing AIRwin at BNE socials

He is a sociable & lovely chap..
Even turned up a couple of weeks back up at short notice for the AUH F1 for a welcoming halal drink.

Sunshine? That's over the Westgate right? Sorry AIRwin - I would love to attend but I never venture that far from civilisation - over Westgate / north of Yarra / east of Warrigal Rd / south of Mordialloc Creek = no go zones for me!

Seriously I would love to come and say bye but have our Chinese manufacturers with me here for a few days so am tied up - please do try to be good though!

But the location would be perfect for your manufacturer! ;)

Unfortunately I have a regular commitment on a Monday night, and live right over the other side of town :(

Unfortunately not going to make it, but farewells said to AIRwin at NoC recently. :) Hope the career move goes well.

And AIRwin, given you will be domiciled in BNE, maybe we will see you at the Flyertalk QF AGM (and the preceding Breakfast Creek lunch) in February?

I could hardly let Irwin depart the sanity of Victoria for the Deep North, without saying farewell. I will attend unless something unforseen occurs. :)

Are total newbies to AFF social functions OK to attend?
Week nights are usually difficult for me and can't see me getting there before 7.30 - 8 but it's almost on my way home.
Unless nasty surprises at work.

Most welcome to attend. We were all new once. :)

I could be there at 6, but I would need to leave by 7... Given the start time is 7, that isn't going to work :( :(

All the best with the move up north!

Yay, another Westie!

Sorry.. I won't be able to attend this event.
Wish you all a pleasant evening.
Were you planning to attend? I know you did it once but it is a long way to go for drinks! ;) And with your luck recently probably a good idea to stay home. :p
