Hello, I have a work trip to the US Boston coming up and I've been asked to choose my flights, I wanna use QF but flying on AA metal with a QF flight number has more SC, how is this possible?

ADL -> SYD (QF)
SYD -> LAX (QF on AA metal)
LAX -> BOS (QF on AA metal)

300SC

But swap flight 2 for: SYD -> LAX (QF) its on 245 SC, prices are similar but can someone explain the SC difference?

Whats even more bizarre is when I look at the flights as single flights they are both the same at 200SC

It's not possible. AA metal with QF number earns the same as QF metal for the same route.

Just a website glitch. Go with the single flight calculations.

Edit - you sure the QF metal option isn't SYD-MEL-LAX?

Copy that, but even the single calculations add up to more than 300....flex J was 45 + 200 + 110!

Yes, that's what I would be expecting - assuming all flights are flex J (and they haven't put you in Y for either the AU or US domestic leg).

Nope "The you flight from X to Y will be in Economy" doesnt appear on any flight selection, which it shouldn't when you select the Business Flex option
