Motel 6 Chicago Airport NO GO!

Needed cheap hotel in June 2012 and probably the airport floor would have been better!

NO SMOKING room is an ashtray turned upside down with a sticker on the base showing no smoking sign :/
Complained...told no more rooms, here spray this in room....christ....terrible!

Received an apology letter via email PDF...."isolated incident"...no compensation.....poor form
Not happy.
Name will be mud anywhere and everywhere I travel.....oh and I do talk!

Have you considered a credit card charge back for not receiving the goods or services you paid for?

Did you research the hotel before booking?

Motel 6 Chicago O'Hare - Schiller Park (Schiller Park, IL) - Motel Reviews - TripAdvisor

As you can see, it has ferral reviews from most travellers. Unfortunately if you let price dictate your decisions re: accommodation, you will occasionally get ****ty rooms.

Motel 6's are good for road trips in rural areas, but in the big smoke a different story.

OMG! That sounds like a shocking :evil: place.. even as stated on TA. Hope it was no more than Motel $6 a night!

Whenever I hear "Motel 6", I think of the movie Psycho!
