Has anyone transferred Membership Rewards points to AsiaMiles recently? If so, how long did it take? I note a few previous threads saying the "official policy" is 2 weeks, but members were reporting it normally taking ~3 days or so. Curious to find out if this is still the average transfer time?

Yes around 3 days for me from recollection. I did this around a month ago.
Good thing it did not take 2 weeks!

Thanks for the info.

I was tossing up between transferring from CitiRewards -> AsiaMiles or MR -> AsiaMiles. MR has the benefit of there being a "known" transfer time whereas I haven't been able to get any feedback re CitiRewards (official time is "28 days", but I think they say that for all programs - and my experience with KrisFlyer, Qantas, etc, has been much faster), but on the flipside I've got a lot of CitiRewards points and would rather keep my MR points for other redemptions given how flexible they are.

In the end I decided to risk it on CitiRewards and requested the transfer this arvo... hopefully it doesn't come back and bite me!!

Amex transfer is quick and easy. Two days. I haven't done transfer from Citi but even communicating with Citi reps is a challenge. ( I'm still waiting for PP card to be issued despite 9 calls to bank over eight weeks.)
