*A and OW are well represented. I wonder if Amex is considering adding other airlines currently serving Australia...maybe from Skyteam.

Which airline would they add from Skyteam? Korean? Possible. I don't think Delta would be a possibility.

I asked Amex some time ago about KLM/Air France but didn't get a reasonable reply

Hi guys,

Bit of a Hijack, but can you swap to QFF direct earn from MR? And will the warehoused points be auto converted to QFF too?
cheers

If you have a plat charge or centurion, you can transfer MR to QFF. But I don't think you can auto convert into QFF...

You'd probably have to launder the points through to QFF unless you are in Ascent Premium. Transfer to HH or SPG then on to QFF, but the conversion rates are likely to be shockingly bad I'd have thought. You are prolly a lot better off going to Cathay (Asia Miles) and using the points for a OW reward if you really want to be on a QF fare.

I know that if you upgrade to a card with ascent premium, then your warehoused points can then be eligible to transfer over to QFF, but not sure if you are just moving to a direct earn card...

Why is that? Because Delta partners with Virgin Australia which has Australian Amex cards? Amex is the primary card of Delta in the US, and it sure would be nice to be able to transfer MR to an American program.

Emailed them today. Platinum reserve can go to QFF direct earn FOC (maybe cos it's an association card?), but can't bring over MR points.

Anyone with ideas to spend 90k MR points? Asia and USA are main international destinations, not a heap of domestic.

Cheers

I called SQ to get award flights on TG. Using ANA portal I could see availability but SQ said they cannot get those seats. Some lame excuse that their allocation was used up. I wonder if I can join Thai's loyalty program, then transfer MR points to it, allowing me to book award flights directly. Do I stand a better chance of grabbing TG seats?

Yes I would say so :)

Asia Miles for sure. If you book AA to the US then you avoid the fuel surcharge too and redemptions are the cheapest I can find
