MR transfer to Supplementary Card Holder

I have some Membership rewards points that I would like to transfer to my sons krisflyer account. My son is a supplementary card holder on the account.

Is this possible to do becasue I just rang amex and they said I can only transfer MR points to my Krisflyer account as the primary holder?

I seem to recall reading that it is possible to transfer points to any supplementary holders FF acounts.

If your son had a separate MR account it would be possible using this for $5 per 1,000 points (or free if they're the same "tier"):

Otherwise I guess you'd need to do it via Velocity and a family transfer, losing around 26% of your points in the process.

Can't be done but remember you can always buy a reward ticket in his name from your own Krisflyer account...
