Sad. But then he looked shocking back at the Barcelona olympics, what was that 1992?

What a strong and courageous soul...

Sad indeed.

“I’ve wrestled with alligators. I’ve tussled with a whale. I done handcuffed lightning and throw thunder in jail. You know I’m bad. Just last week, I murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalised a brick. I’m so mean, I make medicine sick.”

Sad news on his passing, RIP Cassius Marcellus Clay.
I remember the incident on the Don Lane show where Bert Newton nearly got clobbered.

Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr. He would have corrected Muhammad Ali.

I stand corrected, 38 years I cant beleive it was that was long ago ?
Good find on the video Hvr, he surely was a sharp man.

I once saw Ali close up from a vantage point atop a shop awning in South Shields as he passed by in an open top double deck bus. He came to Shields to be married, or to have his Muslim marriage recognised in the Yemeni mosque there.

Saw him from about 4 metres looking down from the aisle at the MCG bay M27 before the 1998 grand final as his car came up the access chute.

"Interesting" is one characterization.

"Freakin' nuts" would be more accurate in my opinion.

I did think it odd that he was not buried immediately. I also think he was probably manipulated by hangers-on throughout his career.
