Multi City Trip with Qantas & Jetstar?

Does anyone know if it's possible to book a multi-city international trip with Qantas that involves both Jetstar and Qantas flights? Specifically I was trying to look at the Starclass in Jetstar and economy with Qantas on the same itinerary?

When I search award flights for the routes separately Qantas brings up Jetstar flights in business class. But when I search business fares to purchase (same route, same date) all I get is Qantas flights.

I hope my question makes sense.. I would appreciate any advice

Multicity has a few traps, I would not recommend it for mixed class, and you cannot do changes online either, so there is added costs should they be required.

It does not show you all the options in terms of flights available at specific fare buckets with upgradeable flights often not showing despite being very close in price & with JQ bookings with QF you cannot get the correct PNR easily to then lookup the booking with JQ and select a seat.

Basically you will need two separate bookings.

Jetstar do not interline baggage unless it's all in the one PNR (booking) as offered by the Jetstar Booking engine.

Even for those revenue bookings on Qantas.com where Jetstar flights are necessary, it used to be necessary for two separate bookings to be offered.
