Multiyear QP paide Membership when attained QFF Gold ??

Hi,
At the start of the year I took out a 3yr Qantas Club membership, never thinking I would attain Gold. I have made Silver and will now make Gold in about a month or two. As that gives me access to QP for a year - will I get an extension on my paid membership?

Yes. Qantas will put your membership on hold for as long as you hold Gold status.

Yes, once you get to Gold, your complimentary QC membership just extends your total period of QC membership. Effectively, you have free QC membership and then the remaining paid portion kicks in when you're no longer Gold.

Short answer - yes. Once you reach gold (SG), your QP membership will be place 'on hold' for as long as you are Gold.

Once you drop below that level, the QP membership will be reactivated for the remaining length of the time you paid for and not used.

Your QP paid membership will be "frozen " at the point you attain SG. If you subsequently drop back to PS, the membership will restart with the time left to run when you got gold. If you make SG after 12 months of a 3 yr membership, then drop back to PS after 3 yrs, you will still have 2 yrs QP from that point.

I have 12 months of QP membership on ice at the moment..

I know someone who had QP on ice too and is LTG now! no refund though!!!

Keep it in the bank until your lifetime expires :shock:
