Hello AFF community!

AFF isn't new to me - been lurking for a long time - but I'm new to the AFF community.

It's a great site full of insightful tips and some pretty funny stuff as well. The funniest thread is probably Joshua's mission to exploit the EDR offer through taco seasoning and cat food - gold!

I love flying and have done a fair bit of it over the last 15 years (268 flights and 564,000 miles apparently) - but lately have done none due to becoming a father. That will change in May when I do a trip to Vegas with some mates (the QF upgrade requests are in - I'm now praying to the universe that I'm not stuck in Y across the Pacific!).

Cheers,

FT

P.S. I'm not a doctor, nor do I have a PhD. The name comes from my young and silly days when I could down beer utilising my "flip top head". :)

And another welcome aboard Dr_Fliptop, looks like you're starting the gambling before arriving in Vegas.

Indeed I am! :(

In the past when I was a WP, I'd be pretty confident of the upgrade coming through - especially if travelling alone. Now that I am a lowly SG, my level of confidence is not so high given the pecking order in front of me. I'm cautiously optimistic with my fingers crossed!
