Ok not that exciting for most people here I know, but I've never actually done a status run before. The double SC offer seemed too good to pass up!

MEL/HBR - (overnight) - SYD/CBR/SYD/ADL/MEL

$280 + 72000 pts ( + hotel in Hobart one night)

With the double SC offer that should net me 520 SCs (not counting points or the hotel, 53c / SC)

Sounds good but do people really put very little or no value on QFF points? A lot of you must have points coming out of your ears. My value on QFF is 2c-2.5c/poin but I guess if you are churning >20,000 QFF points a month through the credit cards then QFF points really do not have any value.

Opusman our Premier in Western Australia recently referred to Tasmania as our national park so you can check first hand yourself on your status run.
Let us know if it works as we need variety in status runs to get that WP1 status.

i am confused, how is anyone flying to MEL/HBR/SYD/CBR/SYD/ADL/MEL
6 flights for $280????????????

Are you flying with qantas or flylo?

Think I'd rather spend that many points and actually go somewhere for a couple of days, but that's just me.

SC's come over time, but the points I use for trips and upgrades I normally wouldn't do.
