Credit Card Offers NAB Rewards Platinum with Velocity: Up to 80,000 bonus Velocity Points (expires 30/4/25)

I just signed up for a NAB Rewards Platinum card and have been approved.
I'd like to convert the bonus NAB points to VFF points but I've read that the additional x amount of bonus NAB points is only awarded if you opt-in for automatic weekly transferring (ie. if you don't opt-in for automatic weekly transfers, you won't get the x amount of bonus points), even despite meeting the $1k minimum spend within 60 days?

What if I leave it as-is and wait for the NAB points to land first, then convert the entire balance to VFF points at a later stage?

If it will jeopardize me from getting the x amount of bonus NAB points after meeting the $1k minimum spend within 60 days, I'll just opt-in for automatic weekly transferring now.

I wouldn’t chance it. I called up the loyalty team, took them 2 weeks, but they sent me the difference in bonus points between the two. I did activate auto redemption prior to calling however.
The also never contacted me to say it was done either, the points just landed in my account.

I also called up NAB yesterday to see which offer I was on (as the website states 2 different offers), they said they were unable to see which one I was on since it's just newly established.

They mentioned that I could call back within a week and once it's visible, they can change to whichever offer that I'd like.

The one that I'd like to be on if not already, is the one that rewards 120k NAB Rewards points which then converts to 60k VFF points after a $1k spend within 60 days. An additional 40k NAB Rewards points would then be issued at the 1st anniversary.

For now though, I've opted in for the weekly automatic transfers to be safe.
